AURO FINASTERIDE is for the treatment of BPH in MEN only. Women who are or may potentially be pregnant must not use AURO FINASTERIDE. They should also not handle crushed or broken tablets of AURO FINASTERIDE. If the active ingredients in AURO FINASTERIDE are absorbed after oral use or through the skin by a woman who is pregnant with a male baby, it may cause the male baby to be born with abnormalities of the sex organs.
AURO FINASTERIDE is for use in MEN only.
No interactions of clinical importance have been identified. If you are taking other medicines on a regular basis, including complementary or traditional medicines, the use of AURO FINASTERIDE with these medicines may cause undesirable interactions. Please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional, for advice.
Always take AURO FINASTERIDE exactly as your doctor has instructed you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. If you have the impression that the effect of AURO FINASTERIDE is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
AURO FINASTERIDE should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid and may be taken with or without meals.
If you take more AURO FINASTERIDE than you should:
In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, seek help at the nearest hospital or poison control center.
If you forget to take AURO FINASTERIDE:
Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.
AURO FINASTERIDE can have side effects.
Less frequent: Impotence, decrease in libido, decrease in volume of ejaculate and ejaculation disorder, breast tenderness.
The following side effects have been reported and frequencies are unknown: Testicular pain.
Less frequent: Rash, hypersensitivity reactions, including pruritus, urticaria and swelling of the lips and face.
Not all side effects reported for this medicine are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice.
Store at or below 30 °C. Protect from light. KEEP THE TABLETS IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. Women should not handle crushed or broken tablets when they are or may potentially be pregnant. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets).
