A – Lennon Vitamin B Complex 2 ml Injection

A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION is used as a dietary supplement where there is a lack of vitamins.

You should not be administered A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION:

• If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to nicotinamide, thiamine, d-panthenol, pyridoxine or riboflavin, or any of the other ingredients of A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION.

Tell your doctor or healthcare professional before being given the injection if:

• You are taking levodopa (medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease) as A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION may interfere with the effect of levodopa.
• You are having any tests done as A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION may cause a bright yellow discolouration of the urine that may interfere with certain laboratory tests.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The safety of A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding has not been established. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice before receiving A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION.

Driving and using machinery

Since adverse reactions such as dizziness and blurred vision have been reported in patients receiving A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION, you should not drive, use machinery or perform any tasks that require concentration, until you are certain that A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION does not adversely affect your ability to do so (see POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS).

Using other medicines with A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION

Always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any other medicines. (This includes complementary or traditional medicines.) Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:

• Alcohol.
• Anti-epileptic medication (phenytoin, carbamazepine).
• Barbiturates: used as sedatives.
• Cycloserine: medicines used to treat a bacterial infection.
• Furosemide: used to treat water retention.
• Hydralazine: used to reduce blood pressure.
• Isoniazid: used to treat tuberculosis.
• Levodopa: used to treat Parkinson’s disease.
• Oral contraceptives: used to prevent pregnancy.
• Penicillamine: used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, Wilson’s disease and cystinurea (stones in the kidney or bladder).
• Phenothiazines: used to treat mental and emotional disorders.
• Probenecid: used to treat gout.
• Theophylline: used to treat asthma, bronchitis, emphysema.
• Tricyclic antidepressants: used to treat depression.

A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION will be injected into your muscle or vein by a healthcare professional. Your doctor will tell you how often and for how long your treatment with A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION will last. If you have the impression that the effect of A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

If you have received more A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION than you should Since a healthcare professional will administer this medicine, he/she will control the dosage. However, if you suffer any discomfort or side effects you should tell your doctor.

A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION can have side effects. Not all side effects reported for A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice.

If any of the following happens, stop taking A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION and tell your doctor immediately or go to the casualty department at your nearest hospital:

• swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, eyelids, lips, mouth or throat, which may cause coughing, difficulty in swallowing or breathing,
• flushing, skin rash or itching.

These are all very serious side effects. If you have them, you may have had a serious allergic reaction to A - LENNON VITAMIN B COMPLEX INJECTION. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalisation.

Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following: The following side effects have been reported less frequently:

• pain and/or swelling at the site of injection
• blurred vision
• nausea (feeling sick; queasiness; feeling that one is about to vomit)
• diarrhoea (frequent/loose watery stools)
• heartburn
• dry skin
• dry hair
• headaches
• tiredness
• sore throat
• low blood pressure
• yellow coloured urine

If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Store in a cool place at or below 25 ̊C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep in original packaging until required for use. Do not store in a bathroom. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets). STORE ALL MEDICINES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
