    • Respiratory conditions such as allergic rhinitis (symptoms such as sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, itchy eyes and coughing caused by allergens in the air) and hay fever (your body has an allergic reaction to things like pollen from trees, grass or flowers which causes sneezing, a stuffy or runny nose, itchy eyes, and a sore throat);
    • Allergic conditions of the skin which cause severe itching e.g. hives (raised, red, itchy bumps or welts on your skin).

    2. What you need to know before you take ALLERMINE

    Do not take ALLERMINE:

    • If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to certirizine dihydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of ALLERMINE (listed in section 5);
    • If you are allergic to hydroxyzine or to piperazine derivatives (closely related active ingredients of other medicines);
    • If you are breastfeeding because certirizine dihydrochloride is excreted into the breast milk;
