Strepsils Warm Ginger Lozenges are used for the relief of minor mouth and throat infections including sore throat. Strepsils lozenges have antiseptic properties.

Do not take STREPSILS WARM GINGER Lozenges: If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to amylmetacresol, 2,4 - dichlorobenzyl alcohol or to any of the other ingredients of STREPSILS WARM GINGER lozenges.
Warnings and precautions
Take special care with STREPSILS WARM GINGER: If you have rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose - galactose malabsorption or sucrase - isomaltase insufficiency. Young children may choke on lozenges, therefore STREPSILS WARM GINGER should not be given to children younger than 6 years old. Diabetic patients should consult the doctor or pharmacist before taking Strepsils Warm Ginger. When a sore throat persists for more than two days, consult your doctor.
Pregnant and breast - feeding:
If you are pregnant or breast - feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machinery
Effects of STREPSILS WARM GINGER on the ability to drive or use machines are not known.

• Taking other medicines with Strepsils Warm Ginger lozenges: Always tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicine. (This includes all complementary or traditional medicines.)
3. How to take STREPSILS WARM GINGER lozenges
Should be taken only by adults and children over the age of 6 years of age. Young children may choke on lozenges, therefore STREPSILS WARM GINGER should not be given to children younger than 6 years old. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every two to three hours to a maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours. Always take Strepsils Warm Ginger Lozenges exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. If you take more STREPSILS WARM GINGER than you should: Overdosage may cause hypersensitivity reaction and gastrointestinal discomfort. In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, seek help at the nearest hospital or poison control centre. If you forget to take STREPSILS WARM GINGER: Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten doses.

STREPSILS WARM GINGER can have side effects. Not all side effects reported for STREPSILS WARM GINGER are included in this leaflet. Stop using STREPSILS WARM GINGER and seek medical help if you have any of these signs: Allergic reaction: • Swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue, eyes or throat (angioedema). • Skin rashes. Gastrointestinal disorder • Oral discomfort. Should your general health worsen while using STREPSILS WARM GINGER, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice.

5. How to store STREPSILS WARM GINGER lozenges
Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Store at or below 25 °C. Keep blister in the carton until required for use. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the carton or blister. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage system (e.g. toilets).
